"As a queer, disabled textile artist I create work based around queerness and gender identity, the environment, and social justice issues. I find inspiration in nature, history, and my own life. My work began as a form of therapy and reclamation in high school and university, I learned that I could create myself as I created art, and eventually pursued it as a profession. It’s highly personal and intrinsic to my identity and I strive to build a space that allows for self-exploration and discovery."
